I guess it's just the nature of the beast that lower level teams are going to have a greater collection of interesting players, but I'm still surprised that this roster is this much more intriguing to me than Tacoma's.

Tons of guys worth keeping an eye on at Clinton: Snow, Kim, Burgoon, Fernandez, Martinez on the pitching staff. Baron behind the plate. Littlewood, Morla and Wiswall in the infield. Plus Rivers and Morban in the outfield.

I'm assuming one of the infielders will be the 4th outfielder. Seems odd to see a roster with only 3 OF's, especially given Morban's JD Drew tendencies.

I imagine the same re: the outfield, dawg.

Also, there can be last-second changes, so if those arise, I will report asap.

Pimentel and walker are the 2 elephants in the room here. Holdin pinwheel back makes all kinds of sense but I figured they'd at least let walker get reps in Clinton in relief. I understand both moves but they sure make this roster less interesting. I'm also mildly surprised Shipers was left off, as he's supposed to be relatively polished.

Wow holy autocorrect. Holding Pimentel back*.

I'll have to make a call on Shipers, slam, that is a good point. He looked fine March 17 in a bullpen session.

I thought pinwheel was a new nickname for Guillermo. I think it might have legs.

Oh, good. For a second there I thought there was some sort of secret about the kid that I didn't know about...

Walker and Pimental are supposedly tossing short-season this year. Was it Jason who reported this? I try to read all the blogs so I get my sources mixed up...

Pimentel will forever be referred to as Pinwheel from now on.
