1. By: shemberry on 06-14-2010 16:35:46 With only 10 position players, you have to think there are some changes coming to this roster. Would love to see Pimentel and Morban.
2. By: Jason A. Churchill on 06-14-2010 16:59:22 They may open with a such a roster, but the additions aren't going include Pimentel. He's headed for the rookie league. Everett is as tough or tougher league to play than the Midwest League with all the experienced pitching that ends up crowding the rosters. Morban, if healthy, could see Everett, but they need an infielder. Rivero and Sharpley can both play first, but if Rivero played first they'd need another outfielder, too. And someone has to DH.
3. By: JD Kickastro on 06-14-2010 17:41:06 Jason, Sorry this is off-topic but I just read that Tony Butler was just released by the Orioles. Would the Mariners consider signing him back to the Org or his baseball career over? His stats have looked awful but do you have any recent scouting reports on him?
4. By: Jason A. Churchill on 06-14-2010 19:52:09 Back and shoulder problems have killed his career. If he can rest up and bounce back, someone will snag him. But right now, I wouldn't.
5. By: xarmyguy78 on 06-14-2010 19:55:13 so besides Pryor is there anyone of interest to watch for Everett this weekend? I am going to the game either Sat, Sun or both
6. By: Jason A. Churchill on 06-14-2010 21:32:23 I think Anston is interesting.
7. By: slamcactus on 06-15-2010 22:44:22 Is this an officially-released roster, or the current one up at milb.com? If memory serves me, the Aquasox usually don't release their actual opening-day roster until either the day before the season starts, or (in some years) the day of.
