| 2. By: Chris Crawford on 06-13-2010 00:03:15 Couple things to keep in mind about collegiate stats. 1. Metal bats make things difficult 2. Plenty of times that pitchers are left in past their game expiration time. 3. Metal bats The most important stat I see for Paxton was 115 strikeouts. If you can miss bats in college with three above-average pitches, you're going to be fine. |

By: Missthosepilots on 06-13-2010 14:24:31 Speaking of those metal bats, high school rules will enforce a new metal bat in 2012 that is hitting equivilant to wood bat - safer and bring game back to what it should be. Does anyone know if NCAA is going to be the same, same timing, etc? Thanks in advance. Enjoyed reading through the chat from last night. Thanks! |
